God Can Work ALL THINGS for Good in Your Life

March 6, 2026

Let’s be honest. You and I do foolish things from time to time. We say what we shouldn’t say. We choose what we shouldn’t choose. We are sinners.

But here’s the good news: You make mistakes — God doesn’t.

Romans 8:28 says, “We know that in all things God works for good with those who love him, those whom he has called according to his purpose.”

Notice what it says: in all things. When you make a foolish mistake, God is not wringing His hands in heaven saying, “Well, I didn’t see that coming.” He isn’t scrambling to rewrite your story. He isn’t forced into a backup strategy.

Now, this promise is specific. It’s not a blanket guarantee for anyone living however they want while ignoring God’s purposes. It’s for “those who love him” and are “called according to his purpose.”

But, when your life is surrendered to Him, God takes every piece — even the broken ones — and weaves them into His design.

Does that mean you won’t mess up again? Of course not. But none of it is wasted. He can make good out of bad.

God knew every mistake you would ever make before you were born. He factored them into the story. He already saw the detours — and planned how to redeem them.

That means you can relax.

You can stop living in fear that one wrong decision will permanently derail your purpose. You can stop replaying yesterday’s regret as if it disqualified you from tomorrow’s calling.

He is working it all — not just some of it — into His good plan.

And that’s reason for joy.
