Wildfire is the “hottest” night of the week for students in the 5th through 8th grades. For the just-about-to-turn teen and youngest teenagers, this is the happening place to be on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:15 pm, weekly during the school year and bi-weekly in the summer (see church calendar for dates).
Wacky, madcap games that no sane grownup would want to attempt are just the thing for these students. Ever hear of the “Octagon of Doom?” It’s a game that inspires championship matches and end of the school year showdowns. Not into games? Not to worry…there’s something for everyone. For the more laid back middle schoolers, there’s plenty of “hanging out” time, and a “talk” is given by one of the youth leaders geared toward the unique interests and needs of the students. The youth leaders' hope is to guide young teens to ultimately discover a faith of their own and to help prepare them for a lifetime of ministry and influence.
Wildfire attenders are permitted to be dropped off on Wednesday nights at the front entrance to the main auditorium where they can sign in. Ample, qualified adult supervision is provided for all youth group activities.
Be sure to check the church calendar for additional youth-related activities and summertime outings.
