Starting Point is a conversational environment where people can explore faith and experience community.
These groups are designed to be a safe place for people with questions about the Christian faith, as well as those who just want to learn more about the Bible. A facilitator, who is responsible for directing a Starting Point group, is available to guide group participants in their quest for further information and help with answers to their questions.
Candidates for Starting Point are individuals who are curious about God, Jesus, the Bible and the Christian faith, as well as those who’ve just begun a relationship with Jesus Christ. The group is also very helpful and beneficial for those who have some church experience, but have been away for a while. Anyone with questions or a desire to simply dig deeper into their faith is encouraged to join in.Seminole Community Church offers Starting Point groups twice a year. Each group meets for about 10 weeks and together explores the grand story of the Bible. One of the goals of Starting Point is to help participants find their places in the story. Visit the church calendar to find specific times and locations for upcoming Starting Point groups.
